CF31- Full size fully rugged toughbook typically used when the laptop can be set down on a surface. Weighing in at 8 pounds and sporting a convenient handle, this Toughbook is typically used in police cruisers and fire trucks and by repair technicians.
CF19 – Fully Ruggedized convertible toughbook typically used when computing is needed by user who is on foot. Weighing in at only 4 pounds this Toughbook can be used as an ordinary laptop or the screen can be swiveled and converted into a tablet. The CF19 is the only fully ruggedized convertible laptop on the market today. This Toughbook is typically used in Emergency Medical Service vehicles and ambulances, by inspectors, warehouse workers and field workers who collect data in the field.
CF-U1 – Fully Ruggedized Ultra Mobile Portable Toughbook. This handheld Toughbook weighs only 2.3 pounds and can be used by field workers needing extreme portability. Use of this Toughbook allows the efficiency of field workers to greatly improve.
CF-H1 – Fully Ruggedized Tablet Toughbook commonly used in healthcare and clinical environments as well as in emergency medical care environments. Ideal for patient care and the collection of patient data.

Business Rugged
These Toughbooks are ideal for those users who need more protection against the elements than what an “off the shelf laptop” can offer but not as much as a fully rugged Toughbook. These toughbooks are also commonly used as a replacement to desktop computer.

CF52 – Weighing in at 7.5 pounds this laptop sports a 15.4 inch non touch screen, sunlight viewable display and an internal CDRW/DVD Drove. This Toughbook is ideal for the field user who needs a laptop with a big, bright display.
CF74 – Weighing in at 5 pounds this laptop sports a 13 inch touch screen sunlight viewable display screen with 160 gigabyte hard drive. This toughbook is ideal for the field user who needs a light weight laptop with a tough screen display.
Options include integrated Bluetooth and cellular modems.
Thin and Light Toughbooks
This Toughbook is ideal for the “road warrior” user who needs protection against the elements but needs a very light weight laptop.
Specific products include:
CF-T8/W8 – Weighing in at only 2.8 pounds these Toughbooks sport a 12.1 inch screen. The T8 also has a touch screen display, whereas the W8 has an internal CDRW/DVD drive, 3 gigabytes of memory and a 120 gigabyte hard drive.
CF-F8 – Weighing in at 3.4 pounds, this Toughbooks sports a 14.1 inch screen, internal CDRW/DVD drive, 3 gigabytes of memory and a 160 gigabyte hard drive.
A word about GOBI
Panasonic uses the integrated Global Internet (GOBI) cellular modem on all of its toughbooks. With GOBI, end users can easily transfer their cellular service between cell carriers (Sprint, Verizon, AT&T only) without having to buy and install a new cellular module. With GOBI the same cellular module can be used and all that is necessary is a simple software change and a phone call to the appropriate carriers to make the change.
